Terms of Service
Note: this is a starting template, not vetted legal advice. Have a lawyer review it, and add a proper liability waiver for the travel activities on each tour, before relying on it.
Using This Site
This website describes Beyond Steppe's small-group tours across Central Asia and Europe, and lets you apply or inquire. By using it, you agree to use it honestly, not to misuse the application form, and not to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the site.
Applications Aren't Bookings
Submitting the Apply form is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking. A place on a tour is only confirmed once Dinara has responded, terms specific to your tour have been agreed, and a 50% deposit has been received, due within 48 hours of confirmation. The remaining 50% is due before departure.
Inherent Risk
Our tours involve travel by road, mountain and desert terrain, variable weather, and, on some tours, high altitude. These carry inherent physical and logistical risk. By applying for and joining a tour, you acknowledge that risk. Guests will be asked to sign a separate liability waiver and are required to hold their own travel insurance before departure; this website's terms don't replace that waiver.
Some tours involve additional requirements: permits, visa processing timelines, and higher physical demands. These are described on each tour's page, and we reserve the right to require prior experience, a medical disclosure, or a minimum notice period for certain tours.
Pricing
Prices shown on this site are per person, in USD, and are starting prices, subject to change based on group size, season, and exchange rates. Your actual price will be confirmed in writing before you're asked for a deposit.
Content and Intellectual Property
The text, photography, and design on this site belong to Beyond Steppe (or are used with the relevant permissions) and shouldn't be reused without asking us first.
No Guarantee of Outcome
We describe our tours honestly, including guest experiences, but travel involves factors outside our control, weather, road conditions, and border processes among them. We'll always tell you when a route or itinerary has to change.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Beyond Steppe isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or participation in a tour, beyond what's covered by the liability waiver and any applicable travel insurance you're required to hold.

We may update these terms occasionally. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
