Day by Day

Five Easy Days

Everything is within a short drive of Ljubljana; nothing here requires an early alarm.

Days 1-2 · Ljubljana

A walkable capital: the riverside old town, the castle hill, and a first taste of Slovenian wine.

Days 3-4 · Lake Bled & Bohinj

A rowboat out to Bled's island church, then the quieter, wilder Lake Bohinj deeper in the Julian Alps.

Day 5 · Karst Caves & Departure

Postojna or Škocjan caves on the way back to the airport, one of Europe's more dramatic ways to end a trip.

Questions About This Tour

Before You Apply

Can I combine this with another tour?
Yes, it pairs naturally with our Austria or Romania tours. Mention it when you apply and we'll help plan the connection.
Is five days really enough?
For Slovenia's highlights, yes. It's a compact country, most sights are under two hours from Ljubljana.
What fitness level do I need?
Very little. This is our gentlest tour: short walks, a rowboat ride, and level cave paths.
Do I need a visa?
No, for most nationalities. Slovenia is in the Schengen Area, so US, UK, and EU passport holders can stay visa-free for up to 90 days.
